Profile

Natia Samkharadze is an intern at AMO.

She is a Master's student in International Economics and Political Studies at Charles University in Prague, and completed an Erasmus+ exchange semester at the University of Strasbourg. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Before beginning her current studies, Natia gained several years of experience in the Georgian public sector. She worked at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Tbilisi City Hall, the National Agency of Public Registry, and the Public Service Hall. In addition, she served as a member of the Gender Equality Council of the Tbilisi Mayor.

Her research interests include European integration, EU neighbourhood policy, international security, political economy, regional connectivity, and the geopolitics of the EU's Eastern neighbourhood, with a particular focus on the South Caucasus. Her current research explores the role of strategic infrastructure, connectivity, and economic cooperation in advancing European integration and regional resilience.
