Profile
Boris Kaliský is an AMO Research Fellow specializing in security issues, with a particular focus on sanctions against Russia and defense policy and technology.
From April 2020 to December 2024, he served as Director of Operations at the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI), and later as a fellow in PSSI’s Economic and Financial Statecraft Program. Since 2022, he has represented PSSI in the Royal United Services Institute’s Sanctions and Illicit Finance Monitoring and Analysis Network (SIFMANet).
From 2004 to 2013, Kaliský worked with the Forum 2000 Foundation and Keynote Ltd. as an Event and Program Coordinator, focusing on projects supporting civil society development in Central and Eastern Europe, the protection of human rights, and renewable energy. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University.
