Tomas Jungwirth Brezovsky from AMO Klima delivered the keynote speech, and many other guests participated in the panel discussions. The aim of the event was to present the work of the participating journalists, open a broader discussion on the challenges and opportunities that the green transition brings to Serbia, and enable networking. The event was held in Serbian and attended by around 50 people.
The programme consisted of three panel discussions: in the first two, the journalists involved in the project presented and discussed their investigative reporting, while the third panel brought together representatives of the NGO sector, industry, media, and state institutions. They focused on the introduction of an emissions trading system in Serbia, in the context of the challenges and opportunities this process presents on the country’s path toward green transition.

The event was the culmination of a project involving 16 journalists from Serbia, who published articles in domestic media on various aspects of the green transition. Support was provided through training sessions, grants for journalistic research, and by connecting journalists with experts and media professionals from both the Czech Republic and Serbia.

The event was organised for AMO by Petr Čermák, Barbora Chrzová, and Hana Kalinová. It was supported through the Transition Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
