Veronika Šmausová

Veronika Šmausová works in AMO as Climate Team communications coordinator.

She graduated Journalism and Media Studies at Charles University in Prague, bachelor studies of Piano at the Academy of Performing Arts and got her master´s degree in Ibero-American Studies also at Charles University with a diploma thesis on Communication Strategies of Zapatist Movement in Chiapas. Veronika also spent a semester studying at Technológico de Monterrey in Mexico City where she did an internship at CzechTrade Mexico. Veronika has experience with working in the media and she has also taught piano and children from disadvanteged enviroment.

She specializes in educational policies, Latin America and impact, adaptation and mitigation of climate change on local level. Veronika is a member of the Green Party's Republic council and a member of the Teachers Platform.
