Lucie Strakošová is an evidence.ninja intern.
Lucie completed her bachelor's degree in Biology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, she studied at the University of Copenhagen, where she worked on carbon footprint assessments and the development of measures to reduce emissions. As part of this work, she collaborated with the Copenhagen Half Marathon on developing its sustainability strategy. Her bachelor's thesis focused on the carbon sequestration potential of urban greenery. She also interned with the Science Editorial Team at Czech Television. During high school, she co-organized the first student climate strikes in the Czech Republic. Lucie is currently beginning the master's programme in Sustainability Science, Policy and Society at Maastricht University.
