Energy Security in Central and Eastern Europe

Energy security is arguably one of the most widely discussed topics in today’s world in general and in Europe in particular. In fact, the European Union faces a mounting challenge as it has to cope with a growing dependency on Russian gas. Excessive dependency has always been a problem entailing a wide range of security risks.
