Strengthening the Capacities and Competencies of Education Sector Staff in the Dnipropetrovsk Region

About the project

The project Strengthening the Capacities and Competencies of Education Sector Staff in the Dnipropetrovsk Region was implemented from 2024 to 2025 in cooperation with key regional and national partners. It responded to the long-term impact of the war on education and helped strengthen the resilience of schools and educational institutions in crisis conditions.

Support was directed primarily to the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education and the Centre for the Professional Development of Educational Staff in Kryvyi Rih. The project provided IT equipment, established a resource room for inclusive education, developed methodological materials, and supported the innovation of 30 courses and seminars.

The second part of the project focused on a network of 60 schools. School psychologists, teachers, and school leaders took part in both in-person and online training in well-being, psychosocial support, crisis management, and inclusion. The project also included 38 minigrants responding to the specific needs of schools. In total, the project recorded 7,632 participations and created a sustainable foundation for the further use of its outputs.
