About the project
Since 2023, AMO has been supporting independent media in Serbia in investigative work on key social and political issues. As part of the projects, training workshops have been taking place in Prague and Belgrade, attended by dozens of Serbian journalists from a wide range of independent media outlets. A number of leading Czech journalists and experts have also been involved in the activities. The projects have also included events for experts in Prague and Belgrade.
The projects have provided direct expert and financial support for the investigative work of dozens of Serbian journalists. As a result, more than 40 investigative articles have already been produced and published in Serbian media, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers, with some of these articles also republished by Czech and international media.
