Passing on of knowledge to the Ukrainian Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky University has yielded its first results

In the second half of 2015, AMO launched a new international project to pass Czech experience in the field of education to teachers from the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University of Hryhoriy Skovoroda (PHDPU). The project is part of the Czech Development Agency's program “Support of education development in Ukraine”.

In November 2015, in cooperation with the School Management Center of the Faculty of Education at the Charles University in Prague, a series of seminars led by Czech experts was organized in the premises of the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky University (PHDPU). The lectures were aimed at teachers, students as well as school directors. The tutorials were followed by a study trip to the Czech Republic, designated for Ukrainian experts taking part in the preparation of a new course on educational management.

In December 2015, an intensive workshop prepared by the Centre for International Cooperation of the Masaryk University in Brno was held. Employees of the international department of PHDPU and of the education department of the Kyiv region were acquainted with the topic of internationalization of universities and mobility programs.

As a result of the activities undertaken by the working groups, materials analyzing the current state in the area of education of directors and international cooperation were issued.
