Paulína Ovečková

Paulína Ovečková is a China Analyst and Communications Manager of China projects, specializing in Chinese foreign policy, political economy, media influence, migration, and China’s engagement in the Global South.
She holds master’s degrees in Chinese Studies and Economic Policy and International Relations from Masaryk University, where she participated in research projects. She completed semester-long study stays at National Taiwan University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In Mexico City, she researched the economic activities of the Chinese diaspora. She gained professional experience as a media analyst and researcher in the private sector, through an internship at the Slovak Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, and as a trainee in the China team at AMO.
