Paulína Ovečková is a China Analyst and Communications Manager of China projects. She researches China's political economy, green technologies, energy, and foreign policy, and examines how developments in these areas affect Europe.
She holds master's degrees in Chinese Studies and in Economic Policy and International Relations from Masaryk University, where she also participated in research projects. She completed semester-long study stays at National Taiwan University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She researched the relationship between China’s government and the business environment, and the economic activities of the Chinese diaspora. She gained professional experience as a media researcher in the private sector and through an internship at the Slovak Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
