Lenka Hrabalová is an analyst at AMO.
Within the team, she focuses on the contemporary Middle East, monitors the region’s climatic transformations, and is interested in cultural heritage and its preservation.
She studied history–archaeology and Arabic and Iranian studies, and received her PhD from the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University, where her dissertation examined the treatment of cultural heritage in the Middle East and North Africa.
Since her studies, she has worked as a freelancer and has participated in a wide range of projects, from documentary to humanitarian initiatives. As a journalist, she focuses primarily on reportage and interviews. She is the author of five books aimed at popularizing the region and bringing it closer to Czech readers.
