Profile

Kristýna Kostková is an AMO Research Fellow, focusing on security and political developments in the Western Balkans region.

Kristýna holds a master’s degree in Security and Strategic Studies from the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science, specializing in the political and security aspects of the Western Balkans, particularly Serbia. Her research concentrates on issues related to the democratic backsliding, radicalism, extremism, terrorism, and the influence of the Russian Federation in the region. As part of her academic work, she completed a semester-long internship at a research institute in Serbia.
