Jana Vaněčková is an AMO analyst focusing on South America, particularly Brazil, and the Lusophone world.

Jana is a Ph.D. student in Political Geography at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. She earned her Master’s degree in Political Geography at the same faculty and also graduated in Luso-Brazilian Studies from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. During her studies, she completed study stays in Lisbon and at the Centre of Discourse Studies in Barcelona, as well as an internship at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lisbon. Her research focuses on the construction of geopolitical identity, energy security, and political discourse analysis in the context of climate change.
