Profile

Alice Nováková is an AMO Research Fellow specialising in feminist approaches to foreign policy, with a primary focus on Germany’s feminist foreign policy and anti-gender mobilisation.

She has been collaborating with AMO since October 2025. She is a PhD student and junior researcher at the Department of German and Austrian Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague, and a member of the university’s research centre PRCP. During her studies, she undertook research stays at Stockholm University and Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. She obtained her Master’s degree in International Relations at the Faculty of Arts, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. From 2023 to 2025, she coordinated a project at the UWB in Pilsen aimed at supporting gender equality in science and technology through motivational programmes for secondary school girls and training for teaching staff. Since 2025, she has been collaborating with the Ombudsman of the UWB on the agenda of gender equality in the research environment.
