500 Ukrainian students and journalists have attended seminars on factchecking last year
Seminars with aim to present factchecking as a tool tool for combating Russian propaganda and strengthening public control in the region continued in Ukrainian regions in the autumn of 2016.
Seminars in Mykolaiv and Odessa (September), Lvov and Uzhorod (October) and Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy (November) were led by experts Oleksej Nabozhniak and Artem Babak. The seminars were attended by 500 students and journalists.

In November, new web www.checkregion-ua.info was launched. It will provide a platform for students and journalists to publish materials controling events at the regional level.
At the same time the competition for the best factcheckingové materials was announced which culminated in the December 19 – 20 by the conference in Kiev.
