Playbook, regular Politico's newsletter, informs about the conference about sharing economy organized by AMO in the European Parliament.

MEP Dita Charanzová argued that the lack of special regulation of the sharing economy in Slovakia is a good signal for the upcoming presidency, indicating they would not push protectionist measures while leading the EU.

Most interestingly, Kryštof Kruliš of the Association for International Affairs argued that coordinated efforts to support the sharing economy could position the V4 countries (Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia) as the new Benelux of the EU.
