FIMI (Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference) remains a significant challenge for societies worldwide. Amidst technological advancements, it has become increasingly straightforward to spread misinformation and carry out information suppression, affecting both individuals and societies by complicating the recognition and detection of such activities.
The project aims to dissect and document Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) utilised by state and non-state actors within the sphere of FIMI. RESONANT unites a comprehensive, seasoned team boasting a wide array of expertise and skills. The consortium includes ten partner organisations from seven countries, encompassing law enforcement agencies, network partners, scientific/academic entities, research foundations/NGOs, and national authorities, highlighting the collaborative effort to counteract FIMI.
The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant agreement No. 101132439.
