The summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization that took place in Warsaw in July 2016 was a symbolic one. As the host city formerly gave a name to the rival organization of the Eastern bloc, this summit showed that the Central European countries, not only of the Visegrad Group, are now well-integrated into the Western institutions and can, when the time is right, influence the actions of the whole Alliance.
