In spring 2016, the serie of practical workshops for Ukrainian teachers continues. It focuses on the method of oral history in the teaching of modern history at high schools.

Ukrainian historic Yuri Voloshin (Poltava National Pedagogical University – PNPU) and director of Association for oral history at Kharkov National University Gelinada Grishchenko implemented 8 of 12 workshops for future and current teachers of history in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy. The workshops planned on the beginning of May will be held in Rivne and Lutsk. The workshops represents a unique opportunity to increase qualification in the remote Ukrainian regions.

The workshops will be followed by the competition for the most interesting project in oral history focused on the 80s and early 90s. The authors of the awarded projects will have an opportunity to be part of the study trip to the Czech Republic and deepen its skills in the area of oral history.
