Weronika Priesmeyer-Tkocz is the program coordinator of German part of the Czech-German Young Professionals Program. She works at the European Academy Berlin as Programme Director.
As a programme Director in the European Academy Berlin Dr. Weronika Priesmeyer-Tkocz plans and carries out seminars, information events and research projects. Her focus of interest lies in particular on transformation processes in Central and Eastern European countries, on the European Neighbourhood Policy/Eastern Partnership as well as on Good Governance and on German-Polish relations.
She studied International Relations at the University of Wroclaw in Poland and Political Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2008 she has lectured at the Institute for East European Studies in the Freie Universität Berlin focusing both on European integration inside and outside the European Union and on the EU’s policy towards the East.
