Viera Knutelská was Research Fellow at AMO Research Center in 2010-2012.
She holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy from Matej Bel University (2004, 2006) and a PhD. in International Relations from Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. (2012, thesis Institutional aspects of the democratic deficit: The role of national parliaments in EU matters). Since 2008, she has worked at the Department of International Relations as a researcher and a lecturer. She also teaches Bachelor and Master courses on European integration and international politics.
Her research interests include EU institutions and their decision-making and democratic legitimacy of European institutions. In 2010-2012, she was Research Fellow at AMO Research Center, in 2011, she coordinated a project of Regional workshop on the EU and in 2012, she worked on the Challenging the Czech Tales on European Policies research project.
