Václav Lídl was a member of AMO Supervisory Board since September 2023 till September 2024.
He also works in the Foreign Trade and EU Section of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and as a lecturer at the Institute of International Studies at the Charles University. He specializes in foreign policy, trade policy and energy security with emphasis on the post-Soviet space.
At the Institute of International Studies, he defended his dissertation focused on the energy security of the Central Asian region. During his studies, he completed study stays at Johns Hopkins University, Moscow State University and University College London. He has been cooperating with AMO since 2013. In the past, he worked as an analyst at the Research Center and executive secretary of AMO.
