Steve Kashkett has been working in the diplomatic circles since 1983. He has held many important posts, among other things he worked for three years at the U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana, he was senior advisor for foreign policy and diplomacy at the U.S. Special Operations Command and he served as the senior civilian leader helping to direct the activities of the U.S. special forces. Since September 2013, he acts as Embassy Prague’s Deputy Chief of Mission. He assists in managing the bilateral relationship between the United States and the Czech Republic and represents the United States at official events.
