Monika Dobrovodská is part of the team working on the national strategy for public procurement at the Ministry of Regional Development. She is working on making public procurement more sustainable and is currently preparing minimum standards for responsible public procurement in several areas, including food and catering services. Previously, she developed sustainable public procurement at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and is co-author of several works on the subject.
Monika graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University. She headed a legal and legislative unit at the General Inspectorate of the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspectorate for six years and was also seconded as a national expert to the Legal Unit of the Directorate General for Health and Consumers.
She is a panelist at AMO klima Conference: Making European food systems work for people, climate, and biodiversity.
