Matěj Denk is an analyst of the region of the Middle East. He specializes in the Gulf states, international and security relations in the region and the influence of religion on politics.
Matěj holds his master’s degree in Arab and Middle Eastern Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and he is currently finishing another master’s degree in Security Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the same university. He was studying extensively in the region of his interests, among others in Egypt, Tunisia or Iran. He was also a scholarship holder at the Kuwait University.
