Martin Lukáč is an AMO analyst dealing with the Latin American region, international security, diplomacy and defense policy.

Martin graduated with a master’s degree in International Trade at the Metropolitan University of Prague and Economic Policy at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE). He is currently a student of the International Studies and Diplomacy doctoral program at the Faculty of International Relations, also at the University of Economics. In 2022, he also completed a one-year training course in security studies of the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI) Robinson-Martin Security Scholars Program.

During the period 2018-2021, he worked professionally on economic diplomacy and the defense industry at the Czech Chamber of Commerce. Since 2021, he works at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, where he is in charge of cooperation in the defense industry at the intergovernmental level. He is currently involved in the coordination of the military assistance of the Czech Republic and the supply of military equipment to Ukraine. Recently, he completed working stays at, for example, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU in Brussels, etc.
