Márk Zoltán Kékesi is a member of the grassroot organization MigSzol, he also works as a sociologist at the psychological institute at the university in Szeged, and is a member of the group focusing on development and social psychology.
He studied at the Faculty of Humanities of Szeged University in Szeged. He gained his postgradual training at universities in Széchenyi and Pécs. He then worked as a sociologist at the TÁRKI Data Collection Department and as a research assistant at the National Institute of Public Education. Since 2007, he has worked a tutor and researcher at the Psychology Institute of the University of Szeged.
