Jan Svoboda is AMO Research Fellow and Project Coordinator. Jan is currently focusing on European energy and carbon markets, energy transformation and low-carbon energy sources.
Jan graduated with a master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris. As part of his studies, Jan spent a year at the University of Bristol where he was studying climate change and environmental policy while during an exchange semester at the University Mohammed VI in Morocco, he was focusing on renewable energy sources.
Having worked as energy analyst for Schneider Electric in Budapest, Jan also accomplished an energy-focused internship at the European Parliament in the office of Luděk Niedermayer, MEP. Currently, Jan also serves as WASH Officer with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Amman, Jordan.
