He is the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva. He prevously worked as a Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic in New York or as an Ambassador in Sweden. He also held many positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. During his diplomatic careeer he often focused on environmental and sustainable development topics.
