Jan Blinka was Associate Fellow of AMO Research Center in 2016-2017.
He is a doctoral student at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at Masaryk University in Brno. He focuses on the study of regional conflicts, especially those in East Asia and in the Caucasus region. Jan spent parts of his bachelor and master studies at Sciences Po Paris, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea.
Besides academia, Jan also has practical experience from Czech diplomacy (Office of the President, the Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva) and the work in international non-profit organization People in Need.
