She graduated from the Asian University in Thailand (MBA) and from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, where she studied Social and Cultural Anthropology. During her studies, she participated in Erasmus program in Spain, and later she studied Chinese language at NTNU in Taipei and at Fudan University in Shanghai. She gained her first working experience in an internship in Bangkok and as an investment analyst in India. Afterwards, she worked for several years as a financial risk manager at a brokerage company in Prague and Brussels. In the past, she also worked as a financial advisor in the field of private banking.
