Daniel Novotný was Research Fellow with AMO until 2014.
In 2008, he was awarded a PhD from the UNSW for his dissertation on the role of Indonesian foreign policy elite threat perceptions on the dynamics of the country’s foreign relations. He has held fellowships at The Habibie Centre in Jakarta, Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore and Monash European and EU Centre and Monash Asia Institute in Melbourne and lectured at the Deakin University in Melbourne.
