Anna-Lena Kirch is a research assistant in German Marshall Fund of the United States' Europe Program in Berlin, where she works on different aspects of EU governance, EU institutions, German foreign policy, and European Neighbourhood Policy.
Previously, she worked at the European Integration Division at the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs) and in the European Parliament. Kirch holds a master’s degree in political science and communication studies from the University of Mainz and is currently working on her Ph.D. thesis on subregional integration in the EU.
