How ALYAS works? What to expect?
AMO partners up with leading organizations and businesses in the field of Asian affairs. Together, we define policy paper or case study topic related to East Asia and one of the following concentrations:
There will be one team of ALYAS participants assigned to each topic. Each team will have one main supervisor from the partner organizations. The participants and supervisors will meet for an introductory meeting at the end of March 2019. During the introductory meeting, the participants will attend discussions, and workshops by leading European scholars and practitioners. They will also meet their supervisor and start working on their projects. The participants will have five weeks to finish assigned policy papers or case studies. During that time, they should arrange one conference call with their supervisors, make sure their project in on the track and get feedback on their progress. At the beginning of May 2019, ALYAS participants will meet again to attend workshops, discussions, present the final results and get an evaluation. Based on merit, selected participants will be offered an internship or job opportunity with one of our partner organizations.
