Association for International Affairs in cooperation with Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung held an international conference on “The Year of the New Presidencies: The Visegrad Countries in the EU“. Speakers focused on the evaluation of the Visegrad countries accession to the EU from the perspective after seven years, the comparison of their present priorities, and particularly on the analysis of their presidencies to the Council of the EU, i.e. Czech (first half of 2009), Hungarian (first half of 2011) and Polish presidency which is currently under way.
