Association for International Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Czech Republic, the Embassy of Ghana to the Czech Republic and Humanitas Africa organized a public debate on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and Ghana.

Projection of document – Crossroads of People, Crossroads of Trade (1994), 40 min.
A dokument by a significant ghanaian director Kwaw P. Ansah showed inhabitans of Ghana,
their rituals, habits and traditions since the time before the first connections with
Europeans, over the Brittish colonization and the fight for independence. The document
revealed points in which the Ghanaians have influenced cultures in different parts of the
world. /document in English with Czech subtitles/

Culture performance
Njachas is a new project of professional drummers and dancers from the Western Africa.
They work with both original and own rhythms playing instruments such as djembe, dun dun,
ken ken, sang bang, sabar, talking drum. The members of the Njachas come from z Gambia,
Guinea, Senegal and Mali.
