Agenda for Czech Foreign Policy 2009

Agenda for Czech Foreign Policy 2009

AMO annual publication on foreign policy of the Czech Republic and its priority areas provides on one hand a review of Czech foreign policy performance in 2009. On the other hand, the authors – analysts and external collaborators of the Reserch Center – bring their policy recommendations for the year 2009.

“From the point of view of Czech foreign policy, the year 2008 was particularly demanding given the upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The state administration prepared for more than two years to take over this important post, which is considered both a unique chance and also a challenge,” the authors claim in the first chapter.
