Public lecture of prominent expert on U.S.-China relations Robert Sutter who will talk about China’s Rise and its implications for U.S. foreign policy organized with kind support of the U.S. Embassy Prague and Moravian Library in Brno.
The rise of China is inevitably changing Asia. China’s growing power, both economic and military, will have a strong impact not only on the region but on the world as such. At the same time, the United States announced its return to the region in a form of American Pivot. Will the concepts of “China’s Rise” and “American Pivot” compete or co-exist? Will they clash or is there a window of opportunity for a closer cooperation? And what are the consequences for the United States, the European Union and the world as such?
