Krystyna Springer is a Senior Policy Analyst for Land Use and Climate at IEEP. Her research focuses on carbon farming practices, the role of market-based policy instruments, and potential pathways within the agriculture and forestry sectors to meet climate policy objectives. Prior to joining IEEP, Krystyna worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where she focused on assessing the Paris alignment of project finance in the agribusiness sector. In her previous role at the UK-based non-profit organisation ShareAction, she conducted research on climate and biodiversity risk management approaches in the asset management and insurance industries. Krystyna has an academic background in International Political Economy.
She is a panelist at AMO klima Conference: Making European food systems work for people, climate, and biodiversity.
