Vilém worked at AMO as an intern.
Vilém has been preserving the focus on the European post-socialist space, especially in the context of international security affairs, since his Bachelor studies at the Dijon Campus of IEP Paris – Sciences Po, where he completed the multidisciplinary program in Political Humanities geographically concentrated on Central and Eastern Europe (2019-2022).
Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s program in International Governance and Diplomacy while maintaining a specialization in the Russian element of European politics. The topic of democratic transition and the subsequent political development in European countries of the former Eastern Bloc constituted the core of his study stay at the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Helsinki (2022).
Besides internships undertaken at the Embassy of the Czech Rep. in Paris and the Political and Security Committee Unit of the Permanent Representation of the Czech Rep. to the EU, he recently finished the Schuman Traineeship at the Secretariat of the European Parliament in Brussels, concretely within the Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union (DG EXPO) – Unit for Europe: Eastern Partnership and Russia.
