AMO has become a member of the Czech Council of Children and Youth
On Thursday, November 15, AMO has become the 98th member organization of the Czech Council of Children and Youth, whose members at the General Assembly aprroved our application.
The Czech Council of Children and Youth (ČRDM) was founded in 1998 and today it brings together about one hundred member organizations representing around 200,000 individual members. The ČRDM’s mission is to support the conditions for quality life and the development of children and young people. This is accomplished by promoting informal education and activities of its members, in particular the effort to create legal, economic, social and cultural conditions appropriate to their work. ČRDM advocates for the interests of its members vis a vis domestic and foreign organizations and institutions.
AMO has become a member of the ČRDM as the organizer of the educational project Prague Student Summit which is designed for students of elementary schools and high schools as well as universities from all parts of the Czech Republic. In 2018, we have been organizing its 24th year.
