We read daily in news about cooperation between states from around the world. We read about organizations, unions and alliances to which they have engaged themselves. One of the most involved organizations in recent days and years is definitely NATO. We hear about the North Atlantic Organization Treaty in regards of many issues, for example in connection with Afghanistan or Ukraine.

We will introduce the Organization and reflect facts about NATO properly and broadly. We will focus on explaining the basis about NATO, containing the information about the establishment, funding, also about the whole civilian and military structure. Current missions of the organization are explained with focus on ISAF and Resolute Support Mission. Let us also clarify the importance of the Washington Treaty as well as the latest NATO summit held in Wales in 2014.

This work can be considered as a first step to the organization. After that the ambassadors will have a better stepping stone to understand other topics connected to NATO.
